Happy Birthday Mummy Wong!!!!

My mummy has been my biggest help and supporter since the birth of my son. She has enabled me to understand the true meaning of being a mother and how to nurture a child in a loving manner. So I would like to take this opportunity on her birthday to thank her for all she has done for me and my little Ng family. We heart you mummy!

Vesak Day long weekend!!!

Kyle and I, together with my dad, mum and grandma, went to a temple in Bedok for vegetarian lunch on Vesak Day. The weather was so scorching hot, my mummy insisted that Kyle put the cap she had bought for him. We then spent the afternoon at Holland Drive as Woon had work to do. In the evening, Woon and I went for RS' birthday dinner at Woodlands followed by mj at Bernz's nest.

On Saturday, we met Shirley and Nick for dinner at the Aoba Hokkaido Ramen restaurant at Ion Orchard. The ramen was deliciously springy and the soup flavourful. The egg was nicely done, with the egg yolk melting in my mouth.

I love the ramen!!

After dinner, we went to 9 Pub to participate in the Japan Darts Tournament Qualifiers. Well, Woon, Nic & Shirley tried for the Qualifiers while Kyle and I just supported. Kyle seemed to like 9 Pub, which was great. Shirley even threw darts while carrying Kyle in his carrier. Good darts!!!

On Sunday, we went to Pek Kio CC in the morning as Woon was playing basketball there with the boys. Woon showed off his new high-cut Nike shoes. Kelly and Kirsten joined us this week and we went for a swim together at Dylan's pool. After the swim, Shirley and Nic joined us for lunch at Long John Silver Velocity. We headed over to Sembawang next to visit Woon's parents. En Rui was there too and the cousins enjoyed some bonding time. Today is my mummy's birthday and we will be having dinner at this restaurant called Spruce at Phoenix Park. Looking forward to that.

My little rascal is getting restless...

A part of my duty of a SAHM is to entertain my little prince and of late, it has become quite a challenge. The reason being he is getting so active, I find it hard to keep up with him. And he gets bored easily. He can't sit on the bouncer for long, he can't sit in his stroller for long, he can't sit on your lap for long! He just likes to twist and turn his body, and end up in awkward positions. The only place he seems to like is in his carrier. Haha!

Wriggling here and there in his stroller

I told you he was happy in his carrier!

Birthdays remind me that I am no longer young..

Happy Birthday Ice!

The older I am, the more birthdays I go to. Makes sense? Haha. Three of my friends had their birthdays last weekend. I actually enjoy other people's birthdays more than my own. Especially when there are more and more big candles on my cake ;(

Kyle's had his first ever bus ride on SBS Bus 174

Kyle had his first bus ride on Saturday from Farrer Road to Orchard Road. Thanks to Shirley who agreed to come on this bus trip! I would not be able to handle him alone on the bus for the first time. I did not know what to expect but it turned out WONDERFULLY! Once I boarded the bus, two ladies immediately stood up to offer their seats to us. It shows that there are still considerate Singaporeans out there. We alighted at the bus stop outside Orchard Tower where we started our Orchard Road Tour.

First Stop: Orchard Towers to buy dart accessories for Nic
Second Stop: Thai Embassy for lunch at the bazaar
Third Stop: Ion Orchard where we shopped ard at Topshop & Uniqlo
Forth Stop: Ngee Ann City where we had tea breaks at Mosburger & Coffee Club
Fifth Stop: Back to Ion Ochard for dinner at Fish & Co

We were out at Orchard Road for more than 8 hours! We reached town ard 12 noon and stayed till 8 pm. I am quite impressed with my son's stamina during shopping. Well-trained? Haha!

Thanks godma, I love u!

Still active after being out for 8 hrs

Daddy joined us for dinner at Fish & Co

My son loves swimming!

We bought Kyle a new neck float and decided to try it at Dylan's pool. He loved it! It was like he was a free fish and could swim wherever he wanted. Though my boy could not really swimming v far away as he was just kicking his legs around, I am sure he had a splashing good time as he did not want to leave the water.
