Day 8: Dim Sum, Pizza & MJ

We spent most of the day eating today. Haha! Actually that was what we did most of our trip. The dim sum brekkie was traditional canton style and I quite liked it. Especially the ladies that pushed their carts of dim sum around.

Hungry and eager to eat

Making reservations for other meals

Could u give us one of everything?

Dinner at Papa Ginos at Lygon St

Huge pizza with 2 flavours

No high chair at this restaurant so we took turns carrying Kyle

Who are these models??

My baby starting young..

Day 7: Fish and Chips at St Kilda's

Even though I have eaten many fish and chips in the 30 years of my life, I have to say the fish and chips at St Kilda's are just FANTASTIC! They are fresh, not sickeningly oily and taste wonderful. The chips are great too. I would have loved to go back for seconds but we did not have the time. Maybe during my next trip.

The grilled fishes.

The fried ones.

Not forgetting the chips.

We ate out in the sun, which is great during winter.

We passed by this wonderful looking dessert shop

and this crowded theme park called Luna Park

I would have loved to try the rides but nobody was game to join me

Tea break at Ko Ko Black

We had yummy claypot rice at Footscray

Our 1st party together in Melbourne!

Day 6: Road trip to Mount Dandenong

We took a drive up today to Mount Dandenong to try some famed scone and jam. We went to this quaint little tearoom called Black Kettle. I loved the fig jam and cream cheese. It was lovely and really worth the drive up.

Scones with tea, lovely!

A soap shop nearby that sold handmade soap, lotions and perfume

A scrub that had the same name as myself

Checkout the look on my son's face!

We went to the top of Mount Dandenong where we sat on the giant's chair

We look tiny on the huge chair

It was a little foggy at the top

We had Korean BBQ dinner at this wonderful diners called 'Huo Lu' in chinese

We had BBQ, Kyle had his teether

Korean Rice Wine

Look at the BBQ stove and the exhaust

The exhaust was damn powerful!

I love the Korean appetizers

We ordered a variety of meats and vegs

We had 2 stoves for 8 of us

I mean 9 of us, plus lil Kyle

Kyle couldn't sit still

So we passed him around the table

But he still was not very happy, haha!

Day 5: Visit to Cass' School

Although my sister has been in Melbourne for 3 years, this is first time I has visiting her in Melbourne. Thus Cass was excited to bring my to her school, Monash University and the places she hung out around her Uni.

Bright and early, Kyle looks awake

Cass loves this brunch place that is near her school

Bagel with egg and ham

I love the rye bread with egg and ham

The mushrooms looks black and burnt but they taste great!

Yummy yummy

The back of the cafe is damn stylo

Name of the cafe is Las Chicas, cool

Next we went to this huge mall called Chatstone.
Someone gave Kyle a ballon and he loved holding it.

The adults had a fancy french dinner appointment while the 'kids' had steamboat dinner at home.

We love steamboat, so we were happy still.

Kyle was happy too cos Uncle Alex held him so high up!

We could not wait to tuck in

Uncle Ryan baby sitting Kyle

We brought the mattress down to the living room so Kyle could crawl around
