Playtime with Kirsten

Kyle has just started interacting with other children and it is quite funny to watch him play with them. He sometimes does things that you do not expect and I will be like "What??". But I reckon these things need time and my patience to guide him. He used to just sit and stare at other children or even completely ignoring them. Some action is better than none I guess. But no violence please baby.

Or at least he loves to imitate his papa doing it. Haha! It is a joy to watch as Kyle pretends he is "driving". He holds on tightly to the steering wheel, looks ahead and observes what is going on in front on him. If there are people or cars, he will curiously watch them, sometimes even tipping his toes to do so.

Kyle loves apple!!!

My dad was eating an apple this evening, when he suddenly thought of letting Kyle try biting one on his own. Initially I was worried if he could hold onto the apple without it rolling onto the floor. Though we have fed him apples before, we have never given him one to hold and bite. I guess this thrilled him as he was quite persistent in biting the apple and he looked like he was enjoying himself.

Kyle loves brushing his teeth!!!

It seems like only yesterday that Kyle was 'bo gay' and had no teeth at all. Now he has 2 + half + half. Two on his lower gum and two starting to show on top. The funny thing is, he loves having his teeth brushed. I think more so than his daddy. I always have to remind Woon to brush. But with Kyle, he just enjoys brushing manz. Check out the photos as evidence.

It is not really a tooth brush, it is a stimulator for the gums. 

I guess it helps to ease some of Kyle's itchiness.

Happy Birthday Yi-Yi & Kum-mou!!!!

This year, my sister is back from Melbourne, so we were able to celebrate her birthday together with Zhirong. My sis birthday is on the 16th of August while Zhirong's birthday is on the 18th. We went to this swanky restaurant at Dempsey Hill called Pamplemoose. The set meal was very worth it and we had a very satisfying meal.

Our Staycation at Siloso Beach Resort Sentosa

As part of Woon's birthday celebrations, we had a 2 day 1 night stay at Sentosa. We throughly enjoyed ourselves, especially Kyle. He loved crawling on the carpet floor, swimming in the pool and kicking sea water. It was a wonderful break for 3 of us and we cannot wait to go back.
